Mutuals and reimbursement of chiropractic consultations

In Belgium, mutual societies partly reimburse Chiropractic consultations, for people who have supplementary health insurance through their employer or in a private capacity, reimbursements up to 80%. 

No medical prescription is necessary, the Chiropractor being a practitioner of first contact. It is always useful to contact your mutual and / or your insurance to know the reimbursement amounts that may vary. A list of chiropractors approved by mutuals is provided by the Belgian Chiropractor Union on their website. Concerning me, I am of course, approved by the Belgian mutual societies.
